Recording artist, song writer and producer Ricky G, has been able to be self sufficient in making his music available for the masses. Born and raised in the City of Chicago’s north west side, Ricky had to deal with his fair share of struggles. To keep him off the streets he used music to help him pursue greater opportunities in life. Ricky has a mixed style between traditional soulful boom bap drums, to the modernized trap influences. When it comes to flows Ricky knows how to double time his syllables or pace himself. At the age of seventeen, Ricky got his first beat machine and began his career in music. Along with learning to produce, Ricky learned to record his own music in his home studio he built.
